Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Welcome to Vietnam! Upon your arrival at Noi Bai international airport, Go Vietnam Tour’s guide and driver waiting for you at exist. A warm hug will give to you before transferring to your hotel. Take a short rest before beginning the family tour. This afternoon, drive through Colonial Hanoi, starting with the Opera House and the other local sights. Next, stop at Hoa Lo Prison Museum (Hanoi Hilton), where Senator John McCain and Douglas “Pete” Wilson were once imprisoned. Continue the trip, and visit the first University of Vietnam, the Temple of Literature, which was built in 1070 in honor of Confucius.
Next, enjoy a cyclo tour through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you will see the charming ancient beauty that still exists in the center of Hanoi.
Back to your hotel and take a shower before enjoying the dinner with traditional Vietnamese music will give you the first taste of Vietnamese cuisine and their culture. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Bai Dinh – Trang An – Hanoi (B, L)
Add full energy by traditional breakfast (usually Pho) and go to Ninh Binh to visit Trang An, one of the World Heritage Sites in Vietnam. Floating on the boat to see “the Ha Long Bay on the land”. Then, go to visit Bai Dinh Temple Spiritual and Cultural Complex which is a complex of Buddhist temples, and is known as the largest complex of Buddhist temples in Vietnam.
Have lunch in a local restaurant, we will visit a scenic area near Ninh Binh, Vietnam renowned for its boat cave tours. Floating on the boat to visit Sang cave, Toi cave, Ba Giot cave, Sinh Cave. On the way back to Hanoi, drop-in Tam Coc, which is also one of the highlights in Ninh Binh. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay/ Halong Cruise (B, L, D)
Today, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi and lead you to Bai Tu Long Bay. Arrive at 12.00. Have a short time to relax in the office before embarking cruise. Please, listen carefully to a brief of safety on board then check in your cabin and enjoy the special lunch while leisurely cruising to the core of Bai Tu Long Bay. One of the most beautiful areas, you have a chance to visit Cap La Island and enjoy a happy time kayaking through the karst and breathtaking nature, swimming, and relaxing. Back to the boat and enjoy Sunset time sip a cup of tea and fresh fruits. Have an amazing night on board Bai Tu Long Bay.
Day 4: Halong – Quang Binh – Phong Nha Caves (B)
Wake up! Wake up to see the beautiful sunrise on the board. Breakfast will be served in Western style and furthermore with Vietnam traditional food. In the morning, explore Thien Canh Son cave. With a giant knowledge about the history of Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, and this cave, which was made by Mother Nature. Please check your belongings from your cabin to move to Hon Gai Pier. It’s time to say goodbye to Ha Long Bay. Our driver will transfer you to Van Don International Airport to fly to Quang Binh.
After checking in hotel in Quang Binh, let’s go to visit Phong Nha – Ke Bang, one of the newest UNESCO designed World Heritage Sites in Vietnam which the name of the whole system and the park is derived, with the special names such as the “Lion”, the “Buddha”, the “Fairy Cave”, and the “Royal Court” Overnight at hotel in Quang Binh.
Day 5: Quang Binh – Hue (B)
Have breakfast before continuing the family trip to Quang Binh, visit Thien Duong cave (Heaven cave) which is known as the longest cave with magical and mysterious formations.
In the afternoon, transfer to Hue. En route, drop to visit the Hien Long bridge & Ben Hai river – the 17th Parallel. The next stop will be Vinh Moc Tunnels – “an underground city”. The village had to receive heavy bombardment during the war, the villagers constructed approximately 2.8 km of underground tunnels which they used as a refuge to survive the bombings. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue – Royal Palace (B)
Today, visit the royal palace which has three perimeters of the rampart, named from outside to inside: Kinh Thanh(Capital Citadel), which started in 1805 under the reign of Emperor Gia Long and under the reign of Emperor Ming Mang, it was totally completed. The second is Hoang Thanh (Royal Citadel) which is regarded as the highest office of Vietnam’s feudalism and sanctums honoring the cult of decreased Emperors. And the last one, Tu Cam Thanh Thanh (Forbidden Citadel), is located inside the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City is reserved for Emperor and his family.
Then, move to visit the tomb of King Khai Dinh which was built from 1920 to 1931. The last highlight of the day is Thien Mu Pagoda, an ancient pagoda in Hue city, that can’t be missed during these days in Hue. With 7 stories and become the tallest one in Vietnam. In the mid-afternoon, travel to Hoi An and check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An – My Son Holy Land – Hoi An (B)
Get up early to see a peaceful Hoi An. After having breakfast, take a walking tour around this enchanting port town, following the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses affected by the architecture of Chinese, Japanese, French, and European. Take a picture at the 400 years old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, the Tan Ky old house, and the local market.
In the afternoon, our tour guide will lead you to visit My Son holly land, a cluster of abandoned and partially ruined Hindu Temples constructed between the 4th and the 14th century AD by the King of Champa, the My Son temple complex is known as one of the foremost Hindu temple complexes in Southeast Asia and is the foremost heritage site of this nature in Vietnam. My Son has been recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site in 1999.
Back to Hoi An and overnight
Day 8: Hoi An- A Short FIight to Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh, the lively and bustling city in Vietnam. As soon as you set your foot in Ho Chi Minh, our local guide and driver will be awaiting you. Give you a warm hug and then move to your hotel and prepare a short Ho Chi Minh city tour. Gathering at your hotel, our tour guide will lead you to the former Presidential Palace which was the headquarters for the Saigon Government, and the War Remnants Museum, built-in 1975 in Ho Chi Minh City. To get more understanding about Vietnam’s history during American War, our tour guide with his/her giant knowledge bring to you how resilient Vietnam is, and leads you to visit the 1880’s General Post Office and the late 19th century Notre Dame cathedral. Enjoy Ho Chi Minh at night.
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be Floating Market – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L, D)
Today, let’s go to visit the Mekong Delta – a fertile region of flat farmland interlaced with thousands of waterways and tributaries of the Mekong. Take a boat trip to explore Cai Be town, where you can observe all of the busy trading activities of local traders with several kinds of agricultural products.
Next, go to visit the traditional village, where your kids will like it, explore to visit a local factory and learn how pop rice, popcorn, rice paper, and coconut candies are made. Of course, you also have a chance to taste and buy this as a gift. Back to the boat for an excursion to Dong Hoa Hiep Island. It’s time for you to explore the local life along the Mekong river. Heading back to Ho Chi Minh and overnight.
Day 10: Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Start today by visiting the famous Cu Chi tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. During the American War, the entire area of Cu Chi has designated a free-fire zone and was heavily bombarded. Until 1988, two sections of tunnels have been opening for visitors. In the afternoon is free for you. You can relax at your hotel or can tell our lead you to the shop center to buy souvenirs. Overnight at Ho Chi Minh.
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)
