The Marble Mountains
The Marble Mountains are a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located just outside Da Nang in central Vietnam. The hills are named after the five elements of the ancient oriental philosophy - metal, wood, water, fire, and earth - and are famous for their stunning natural beauty, ancient caves, and pagodas. The Marble Mountains are also home to many skilled local artisans who specialize in carving marble into exquisite sculptures and souvenirs. Visitors can climb up the mountains to explore the many caves and grottoes, admire the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, and discover the rich cultural and spiritual history of the region.
